This project served as another in what has now become a series of musical performances at the Garfield Park Conservatory, in this case with our friends Disappears.

Celebrating the release of a new album, Irreal, the band was interesting in performing in a new context, making the Conservatory a perfect fit.

In this case, we decided to put Disappears and touring support Suuns on a stage in Horticulture Hall, and then staged two other performances – by Bitchin’ Bajas and Mouth Captain, respectively – randomly throughout the space for attendees to encounter as they meandered through the greenscaped walkways.

It was magical.

We recorded the entire performance, and the band then selected two songs – ‘Interpreation’ and ‘Halcyon Days’ – for release as a part of our AudialLSD series.

Limited to 250 copies (and nearly sold out), this seven-inch features a swirled colorway in stark, minimalist packaging by band member Brian Case.
