Reckless Eagle Izakaya

Reckless Eagle Izakaya was a hybrid celebration of the casual Japanese pubs and the rockabilly revival (motorcycles and all) that swept Tokyo in the mid-twentieth century, taking place in a fully transformed OSB with food, drinks and karaoke. Bonus points for the fun T-shirt design by Louis Capozzoli

On the food side, Chef Max Robbins explored the traditional robatayaki method of grilling over charcoal with a full menu of offerings like reba (chicken liver), hatsu (duck heart), tarabagani (king crab) and more. A range of small and large bar snacks was also available nightly including asari no sakamashi (clam and sake soup), karage (fried chicken with napa slaw), and wagyu katsu sandwiches on milk bread.
